5.0 out of 5 stars Tough & Durable with one minor fault
This notepad is good quality and very affordable compared to what I expected.
- Regarding "Water and Oil Resistant": I don't use the product in an environment where it has come into contact with water and so I cannot comment on this.
- Regarding: "Tear Resistant": The paper is definitely resistant to tears, however I've experienced issues with tearing the paper with any notepad I've had in the past, (whether it was tear resistant or not) and so this isn't a particularly significant feature for me.
- Regarding ink smudges: I use a type of pen that is particularly runny in terms of its ink and so I often find that, when I open the notepad up having used it with liquid ink, it has become smudged. It remains reasonable legible and so this isn't too much of an issue for me; just an observation.
This notepad is reasonably tough and durable and the design is impressive. Aside from one minor issue, (stated above), I am pleased with the product and would purchase it again.
Tried many weatherproof notepads, this one wins
Not much to say, it is weatherproof and works excellently in combination with a Fisher Space Pen. As a Van Driver Courier i need a reliable notepad and pen at all times for any weather, this one does the job. I even use it as a part of my EDC and use it daily for notes, even carried loose pages in my pocket for a long time, the paper was still in one piece and still perfectly readable. Worth the price paid, a simple thing but beats a normal paper notepad anytime Its a great ecologic alternative to standard paper made from trees as it is only made from calcium carbonate (chalk) and polyethyleneDurable, Waterproof and Easy to Write On
I work in a supermarket on a department where it is handy to make notes about things. When working, it is kept in my trousers. Previous bits of paper and notepads have all ended up being damp due to being in my pocket for long shifts, so when I come to read what I have previously written down, I can't read it because it is too smudged.
Then I found this notepad, I bought my first one about 10 months ago, and I recently bought my second one. My first thought was that it is heavier than similar sized notepads, but this is because the pages are made of stone. I have been able to comfortably write on the paper like any other paper, and even if I leave the pages open when I put it back in my pocket, the ink may smudge a little, but I can still read what I have written.
The paper is very durable, it is very difficult to accidentally tear it, but can be torn if you intentionally do so, and I tested whether it is waterproof and it is. I cannot recommend this notepad enough, it has helped me a lot in my job, so much that when I lost mine, I immediately bought another. Just one note, the paper is very durable, but the card covers are not, they can be easily damaged.
